ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Digital Tech department at Fenix Outdoor is on an exciting journey of transforming our organization into a digitally capable and competitive company. As our IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing Fenix Outdoor's global infrastructure environments within the following areas; physical data centers, offices, retail stores and cloud data center.
You’ll be a part of a dynamic, talented and driven team that works in small, focused expert areas, but also as a larger product team and cross-collaborative operation with other departments.
This full time role is located in Örnsköldsvik and will report directly to the Head of IT Infrastructure, Andreas Nylander.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Create, approve, drive and prioritize Infra related FSD (changes) cases.
Review, validate and approve cost estimations on changes and projects from external partners.
Drive projects related to infrastructure installation, migration and upgrade entire technology systems together with infra partners.
Assist in updating and developing the Fenix infrastructure strategy.
Analyze, update and develop the infrastructure monitoring process.
Review current infrastructure platform and analyze potential changes.
Be the leader or assist in infrastructure cloud transformation projects.
Participate in the development and planning of the yearly Infrastructure budget.
Interpret and assist backup procedures as well as recovery processes along with industry standards.
Assist to update disaster recovery plans along with business continuity analysis as appropriate.
Learn and comply with validation requirements, standard-operating procedures (SOP) and change control maintenance for Infrastructure product life-cycle.
Convey and coordinate with all internal or external DT resources on digital projects and product development.



WHO YOU ARE

You tackle business problems with creative solutions from fact-based findings; you don’t shy away from the opportunity to weigh-in on critical business decisions.

Enthusiastic team player: you possess the ability to work with people from all backgrounds and walks of life.

On the technical side we want you to possess the following:
3 to 5 years experience as a System & Infrastructure Operations or Project Manager on System & Infrastructure change management.
3 to 5 years experience with varied Infrastructure configurations, including health and performance monitoring in the main Infra vendors (VMware, MS , Windows and UNIX/Linux Operating Systems, Citrix, SAN solutions, Monitoring tools etc).
Life-cycle Management; steer, guide and improve the life-cycle Infrastructure services for our on-premise data centers.
In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure monitoring tools like Splunk, Nagios etc. would be advantageous.

För att du ska passa för rollen krävs det att du:
Har tidigare arbetslivserfarenhet inom kundtjänst eller annat serviceyrke.
Kan kommunicera väl i tal och skrift på engelska, svenska (talar du också franska eller tyska är det ett plus)
Drivs av att ge kunder den bästa servicen och förstår värdet av en riktigt bra kundupplevelse
Är lyhörd, positiv och en lagspelare som bidrar till gruppens gemensamma resultat
Har ett stort intresse för friluftsliv och utrustning.
Är flexibel och har förmågan att hantera flera olika arbetsuppgifter parallellt
Har förmåga att se vad som behöver göras i stunden och kan prioritera och ta egna initiativ
